The community faces beautiful Mahone Bay and traditionally earned its living from the sea. People still fish and lobster from the sturdy wharf. There is a small general store and café, B&B's, galleries, antique shops and churches. Nearby are glorious sand beaches, great hiking trails and plenty to capture the interest of nature lovers. Less than an hour to Halifax. Directions: Exit 7 from Hwy 103, left on Hwy3, right on Hwy 329 to Blandford.
