LOCATION
Second Peninsula is well known to cyclists and to others who just drive/pedal down the road here for the pure joy of looking at the unspoiled scenery. Bachman's Beach, near the end of the peninsula, is a local sandy swimming spot. Princess Inlet - a yacht lover's paradise - is on the north side of the peninsula and the quiet protected (and navigable) waters of Martin Cove is to the south. The area is about midway between the historic towns of Lunenburg and Mahone Bay - each about a 20 minute drive from here. Halifax and international air connections are about 90 minutes away.
