UPDATE:
All the Horses in Need are doing fantastic! Most of the horses are at their new permanent homes or at foster farms for the winter. We still have two and three year olds that need a home. Please call or email us if you would like to have further information and pictures.
After we overcame some trust and health issues ALL of the horses turned out to be very well built, calm and gentle horses. Even the vet that was so wonderful and helped us with all the questions and problems over the first few month after they arrived, was absolutely surprised HOW nice everybody turned out. He couldn't believe his eyes when he came to do a vet check on one of the yearlings and realized that they were the same horses..... Before they were not approachable and scared of people, all of a sudden they climbed right into your pocket for a treat. The worm bellies disappeared and the scruffy lice coat was replaced with a shiny healthy looking one. WOW, talk about an open mouth....
