Joan Harris-Reid has been a real estate associate on the South Shore for fifteen years. She has a BA degree and after graduating from Memorial University moved to Victoria, BC. After a couple of years living close to the Pacific she decided that Coho salmon just couldn't compete with the wild Atlantic kind and moved to Halifax. She moved to real estate from other careers, including her own interior design business which she began in South Carolina.
Joan is a committed traveler, with the Greek islands being her favorite holiday spot. She is a published writer, a voracious reader and an adventurous cook. She considers the "people part of real estate" the big plus of the job. Having been involved in the buying and selling process in several countries she understands the issues and works hard to take the stress out of the process for you.
